ToolSink

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information ToolSink (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects when you use https://toolsink.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.

Last updated: July 22, 2026

1. Summary (plain-English)

  • Most of our tools run entirely in your browser — your files are not uploaded unless a tool explicitly requires server processing.
  • We collect a minimal amount of anonymous analytics to understand which tools are useful.
  • We show ads via Google AdSense, which may set cookies to personalise ads and measure performance.
  • You can opt out of personalised ads and request deletion of any personal data we hold about you.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Contact form / email — when you contact us we receive your name, email address, and message.
  • Files you upload — only when a tool clearly indicates server processing is required. Uploaded files are deleted automatically after processing (typically within one hour) and are never used to train models or shared with any third party.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, tool actions, time on page, referrer, viewport, device type, general geographic region (country / city level).
  • Technical data — browser type & version, operating system, language, anonymised IP address.
  • Cookies & similar — see §5 below.

3. How we use your information

  • Operate, maintain and improve the ToolSink service.
  • Monitor performance, detect abuse and fix bugs.
  • Respond to your support enquiries.
  • Serve and measure advertising, including personalised ads (unless you opt out).
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers. Each one is bound by their own privacy policy and by contractual data-protection obligations with us:

  • Google AdSense — displays advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info.
  • Google Analytics (if enabled) — collects anonymised usage statistics. IP addresses are anonymised. Read Google’s privacy notice at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Hosting & CDN providers — deliver the site quickly and reliably. Standard access logs are retained for security purposes for up to 30 days.

5. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work (e.g. remembering your theme preference).
  • Analytics — help us understand aggregate usage.
  • Advertising — used by Google AdSense and other partners to deliver and measure ads.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may make some tools behave unexpectedly.

6. Your rights (GDPR — European Economic Area & UK)

If you live in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of that data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing relies on consent).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email toolsink.support@gmail.com.

7. Your rights (CCPA / CPRA — California)

California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
  • Delete personal information we have collected.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — ToolSink does not sell your personal information for money, but sharing with advertising partners may qualify as “sharing” under CPRA. Use the opt-out link at the bottom of the site or email us.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

8. Children’s privacy

ToolSink is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data security

We use HTTPS everywhere, follow reasonable industry-standard security practices, and limit access to personal data to authorised personnel. However, no method of transmission or storage on the Internet is 100% secure.

10. Data retention

  • Uploaded files — deleted automatically after processing (typically within 1 hour).
  • Contact-form messages — kept for up to 24 months to reference past support conversations, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Analytics data — aggregated and retained for up to 26 months.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site and, where appropriate, we’ll ask for renewed consent. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
